Well, after almost 7 years of shutdown our band, Manlalakbay, was on its feet again for more or less a reunion concert this coming February 29, 2008 at ICC Arts Center, La Salle University in Ozamiz City, Philippines. It was first suggested to focus and work on original materials but some of our friends have known about our reunification and start negotiating us for live performances. At first, we were hesitant to accept one due to conflict of schedules but after some time another friend came to us for a much more negotiable terms not financially but on the concert preparation like band rehearsals, legworking and marketing. With this, it is expected to gain more experience and bonding between the group after all of those years not working ourselves on stage and during rehearsals. It is with high hope to forge a more dynamic interaction among us and establish back our chemistry on and off stage.

As a group development and enhancing our repertoire, we added more percussions on our songs. This is aimed to reshape our image as a band and develop more taste in creating our own music. Our former drummer was tasked to handle all the percussion instruments and at the same time a new drummer was hired to replace him.
